This is Wendy.  this video is about what the expats hearing clearly gave as part of their package when they were brought over to Korea.

Salary

By expats  in business plans those who are connected with multinational companies international organizations even governmental organization like the military and further definition the expats that i'm referring to in this video.

Those are usually hired from outside of Korea and brought over here.

I think there is a slight or even some major difference in terms of package from those who are locally hired expats meaning those who were hired here inside Korea with that being clear let's move to the first package the salary.

Because you are expat that entails moving on to a different country.

The company has already budget for relatively higher salary compared with your local counterpart .

The CEO for example would be expected to receive more than the executives would receive way more than their local counterpart because that would be giving adjustment to the new country, new place, new business culture.

The higher salary base is normal in the expat in the kind of set up.

Housing 

The company brings you in another place to Korea.

In this case, Korea know that you are in a different country that's not where you came from obviously or you are being moved from another country to another. 

So they need to provide the housing. It is usually part of the expat package.

There is the different in the kind of housing that you get will be different.
