WHAT PEOPLE SAY...
CRITIC REVIEWS
"While Easy A might not be remembered ten years from now like such films as Pretty in Pink, Pretty Woman, and Boomerang, but it's still a refreshing addition to today's genre."
Candice Frederick
"The script shrewdly boosts its IQ by working in parallels to Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter and piling on 80s teen movie references."
Cath Clarke
AUDIENCE REVIES
"Funny, bitter-sweet and intelligent, Easy A narrates a plucky girl's struggle with handling a simple spat of dishonesty as it unravels into a fat web of lies and an eventual bad reputation. Emma Stone's breakthrough role and is on par with Mean Girls in its bleakly honest humour and polished zeal. It's also weird and kind of fun to watch Amanda Bynes play an exaggeration of a teenage purity ring wealding bible thumper, oh the irony."
"I wasn't interested in this at all at first, but decided to watch the first few minutes of it. I'm really glad I did. This was a really funny, touching film that also documents the potential hardships of high school and its eccentricities. I wasn't a fan of Emma Stone before, but after seeing her in this film, she has quickly become one of my favorite actresses. I'm looking forward to seeing her in more films in the future, hopefully playing the role of more protagonists."
